AXA Deepens Partnership With Egypt's Yodawy to Digitise Insurance and Pharmacy Services
Insurer AXA expanded its collaboration with pharmacy-benefits manager Yodawy, with plans to widen digital services across its business.
AXA has deepened its partnership with Yodawy, Egypt's pharmacy-benefits management platform, as part of a push to accelerate digital transformation across its operations.
The two companies said they plan to expand digital services to cover all business areas, with Yodawy providing pharmacy-benefit solutions that connect insurers and medical-service providers including hospitals, labs, radiology centres, pharmacies and dental clinics.
Yodawy's pharmacy-benefit management links pharmacies, health-insurance providers and patients through a real-time, AI-powered approval engine.
The company, founded in 2018, has raised a total of about $34.5 million and runs a chronic-care programme delivering monthly medication refills across dozens of Egyptian cities.
