Crowd Analyzer, the Dubai-headquartered Arabic-focused social-media monitoring platform, has raised more than $3.5 million in a Series A round.
The round was led by Tech Invest Com, with participation from Wamda Capital, Arzan VC, Faith Capital and Daring Capital.
Founded in 2013, Crowd Analyzer uses machine learning and natural-language processing to track brand mentions across Arabic dialects, including Egyptian, Gulf and Levantine, as well as standard Arabic.
The company said the funding would help it scale the business and expand operations in Saudi Arabia and the wider MENA region.
