DisrupTech Ventures, an Egypt-focused fintech investor, said it had backed Chari as the Casablanca-based startup closed its Series A round. Chari operates a B2B e-commerce and financial-services platform serving traditional neighbourhood retailers in Morocco.
The investment extends the Egyptian firm's reach across North Africa. DisrupTech runs a fund focused on early-stage fintech and fintech-enabled digital services, primarily in Egypt.
