Egypt's MoneyHash Raises $5.2m Pre-Series A Led by Flourish Ventures to Unify MENA Payments
The Egyptian payment-orchestration platform closed a $5.2 million pre-Series A round to deepen its presence across the Middle East and Africa.
MoneyHash, an Egyptian payment-orchestration platform that gives businesses a single API to manage online payments across the Middle East and Africa, has raised $5.2 million in pre-Series A funding.
The round was led by Flourish Ventures, with new investors including Saudi Arabia's Vision Ventures, Arab Bank Venture Capital and Emurgo Kepple Ventures. Jason Gardner, founder and former chief executive of Marqeta, joined as an investor.
The company previously closed a $4.5 million seed round in early 2024, bringing its total raised to roughly $12.7 million.
MoneyHash said it would use the capital to deepen its footprint across the MEA region and expand into additional markets, helping enterprises route payments through a fragmented landscape of providers.
