Egypt's OneOrder Raises $16m Series A to Expand Restaurant Supply Chain Into the Gulf
The restaurant-tech startup landed a mix of equity and debt to take its procurement platform beyond Egypt.
Egyptian restaurant supply-chain startup OneOrder has raised $16 million in a Series A round comprising equity and debt to fund expansion into the Gulf Cooperation Council region.
Founded in 2022 by Tamer Amer and Karim Maurice, OneOrder lets restaurants order food supplies online, tackling fragmented procurement that leads to unpredictable prices, waste and quality issues. The platform connects restaurants directly with local suppliers.
The company had earlier raised $1 million in initial funding and a $3 million seed round backed by investors including A15, Nclude and Delivery Hero Ventures.
OneOrder has also drawn on working-capital facilities to finance inventory as it scales its supplier network.
