HUMAIN Launches Arabic-Native 'HUMAIN Chat' Powered by ALLaM Model
Saudi PIF company HUMAIN released a conversational AI app built on its home-grown ALLaM 34B model, fluent across Gulf and Levantine dialects.
On 25 August 2025, HUMAIN, the PIF-owned AI company, launched HUMAIN Chat, an Arabic-native conversational AI app for web, iOS and Android powered by its flagship ALLaM 34B large language model. ALLaM is described as the first foundational model developed from scratch in Saudi Arabia, conversant in Saudi, Egyptian, Jordanian and Lebanese dialects with real-time web search.
Launching first in the Kingdom before a wider regional and global rollout, the app targets more than 400 million Arabic speakers underserved by generative AI. HUMAIN said it was built by over 120 experts and trained on more than 500 billion Arabic tokens.
