Toters, the on-demand delivery platform operating in Lebanon and Iraq, has raised $18 million in a Series B round, with the IFC leading the financing through a $5 million equity investment.
The IFC said its investment is aimed at helping Toters grow its operations in Iraq and bolster the digital economy across both markets.
Founded in 2017, Toters began as a food-delivery service before broadening into a super-app strategy spanning grocery delivery, courier services and payments.
The funding supports the company's push to scale its delivery network in a region where digital commerce is still developing.
