Moroccan Proptech Yakeey Secures Up to $7m Series A From IFC
Managed real-estate marketplace Yakeey has attracted a Series A investment of up to $7 million from the International Finance Corporation.
Yakeey, the Moroccan proptech startup building end-to-end digital infrastructure for property transactions, has secured up to $7 million in Series A funding from the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private-sector arm of the World Bank Group.
Yakeey operates a managed real-estate marketplace that integrates property search, brokerage, verification and financing, with the goal of bringing transparency to Morocco's traditionally opaque property market.
The company said the capital will accelerate product development and strengthen its position in Morocco's rapidly evolving real-estate sector.
The investment underscores growing international interest in North African proptech and IFC's push to back digital platforms that formalise real-estate transactions in emerging markets.
