OSN Group Moves to Buy Out Anghami's Remaining Public Shares
OSN, already Anghami's majority shareholder after their 2024 merger, is set to acquire the streaming platform's remaining publicly held shares.
OSN Group, which became Anghami's majority shareholder when the two companies completed their merger in April 2024, has moved to acquire the remaining shares of the MENA music-streaming platform, consolidating full ownership.
The step follows a period of tighter integration between Anghami and OSN's video service OSN+. In March 2025, Warner Bros. Discovery agreed to take a minority stake in OSN Streaming, investing about $57 million and expanding a content partnership across the region.
Anghami reported full-year 2025 revenue of $99.3 million, up 27%, with paid subscribers reaching 3.5 million and a registered base of more than 130 million users.
The buyout brings one of the Arab world's best-known homegrown streaming brands fully under the OSN umbrella as the group builds a combined music-and-video offering for the region.
