Foodics, the Riyadh-based restaurant-technology and payments company, acquired 100% of UK-based Solo Venture in February 2025, adding self-ordering kiosks and white-label web and app ordering to its platform. Foodics also led investments in three other startups as it builds out next-generation restaurant tooling.
The company said it plans to invest more than $100 million in acquisitions across fintech, AI and restaurant technology. Foodics, backed by Prosus, Sanabil, STV and Peak XV, serves over 33,500 restaurant branches and processed about $6 billion in gross merchandise value in the first half of 2025.
