Starvania, a Riyadh-based independent game studio, has raised a $1.1 million investment to grow its slate of culturally-rooted fantasy games for PC and consoles, including a title inspired by the Arabian myth of the Waqwaq Tree. The raise supports the Kingdom’s push into homegrown gaming content. The studio is part of the LEAP 2026 Saudi startup cohort.
