Tamara Turns Profitable in 2025 as Revenue More Than Doubles
The Saudi BNPL unicorn reported SAR 92.4m net income for the first nine months of 2025, reversing a year-earlier loss as third-quarter revenue rose 114%.

Saudi buy-now-pay-later unicorn Tamara reported its first sustained profitability in 2025. For the third quarter it posted SAR 28.1m (about $7.5m) in net income, versus a SAR 56.1m loss a year earlier, with revenue up 114% to SAR 333.2m. Nine-month net income reached SAR 92.4m (about $24.6m), against a SAR 164.2m loss in the same period of 2024.
The turnaround was supported by a $1.4bn-to-$2.4bn asset-backed financing facility anchored by Goldman Sachs, Apollo and Citi. Riyadh-based Tamara serves more than 10 million users across Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Kuwait.
