Tunisia's GoMyCode Launches Accredited School of Technology to Grant University Degrees
The coding-school startup is stepping up to accredited higher education as it defends its model against AI-driven learning.
Tunisian edtech GoMyCode has launched the GoMyCode School of Technology, becoming an accredited institution offering globally recognised degrees.
Founded in 2017 by brothers Amine and Yahya Bouhlel, GoMyCode began as a coding school and has expanded into broader technology training across online and offline formats. The company said its degrees would be equivalent to those granted by European universities.
The move follows GoMyCode's $8 million Series A round led by AfricInvest, through the Cathay AfricInvest Innovation Fund, and Proparco, with continued backing from Wamda Capital.
GoMyCode operates across several markets including Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt, Algeria, Bahrain and parts of West Africa.
