UAE's KamelPay Launches Mastercard-Powered AbsoluteCard for Corporate Spend Management
The remittance and payments firm is moving into corporate spend with a real-time card platform built on Mastercard.
UAE-based fintech KamelPay has launched AbsoluteCard, a corporate spend-management solution powered by Mastercard, bringing real-time payment controls to businesses in the UAE.
The launch formalises KamelPay's collaboration with Mastercard and marks a step beyond its core remittance and payroll services, which include money transfers, mobile top-ups and bill payments.
KamelPay has been building out its regulatory footprint, having received in-principle approval from the Central Bank of the UAE for Stored Value Facilities and Retail Payment Services licences.
The company was earlier selected for Mastercard's Start Path startup engagement programme from a group of MENA fintechs.
