Visa Partners Arabic-AI Firm Intella to Bring Conversational AI to MENA Banks
The 2025 collaboration co-develops Arabic-first conversational AI supporting more than 25 dialects for financial institutions across the region.
Visa partnered with Intella, the Egypt-founded builder of Arabic-first AI models, to co-develop conversational AI for financial institutions across the Middle East and North Africa. Announced in 2025, the collaboration gives Visa's partner banks access to Intella's intellaCX analytics and its AI agent Ziila, supporting more than 25 Arabic dialects.
Founded in 2021 by Nour Taher and Omar Mansour, Intella builds speech-recognition and conversational-AI tools for enterprise contact centres. The Visa tie-up followed Intella's $12.5 million Series A led by Prosus, as the company scales go-to-market teams in Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
