Zain Opens Its 'Zain Great Idea' Accelerator to Startups Across Six MENA Countries
Telecom group Zain has regionalised its flagship startup accelerator, welcoming applicants from six MENA markets for the first time in the program's history.
Zain Group has announced the regional expansion of its flagship startup accelerator, Zain Great Idea (ZGI 2025), powered by Zain Ventures and ZainTECH.
For the first time in the program's roughly 15-year history, the 2025 edition opened applications to innovators across six markets, Kuwait, Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, rather than a single country.
Selected startups gain access to mentorship, capital and global exposure, including a trip to Silicon Valley, as Zain positions the accelerator as a pan-regional talent pipeline.
The expansion aligns with Zain's broader diversification into fintech and digital services across its footprint, including its BEDE fintech masterbrand.
