AlGooru, described as Saudi Arabia's first licensed private-tutoring platform, raised $4 million in a pre-Series A round of debt and equity led by Constructor Capital, with participation from Hub71, angel investors and family offices. The round was announced in December 2024.
Founded in 2021 by Khalid Abou Kassem and Omer Awad, AlGooru connects students with on-demand tutors. The company said funds would expand operations in the Kingdom with a focus on offline tutoring, advance its AI technologies and support entry into new verticals through partnerships.
