Desert Technologies, the Saudi solar-energy company, has signed an agreement with module maker Astronergy for the supply of 13 MWp of photovoltaic modules in Saudi Arabia.
The deal is positioned as a step in strengthening the Kingdom's clean-energy value chain, supporting the deployment of solar capacity in line with Saudi Arabia's renewable-energy ambitions.
Jeddah-based Desert Technologies develops solar projects and manufacturing capabilities across the region and has partnered with global players on energy and eMobility initiatives.
The agreement reflects the accelerating pace of solar procurement in Saudi Arabia as the country builds out large-scale renewable generation.
