Egypt's WideBot Launches Arabic AI Voice Agent for WhatsApp Business Calls
The Arabic-focused AI startup rolled out a voice agent that lets governments and enterprises handle WhatsApp voice calls with an Arabic-speaking assistant.
WideBot, the Arabic-focused AI company founded in Egypt and now based in Riyadh, has launched an AI voice agent for WhatsApp business calls.
The product lets governments and large enterprises interact with citizens and customers directly through WhatsApp voice calls, powered by an intelligent Arabic-speaking AI voice agent.
The launch builds on WideBot's push into Arabic language technology. Earlier in 2025 the company raised $3 million in pre-Series A funding to develop AQL Mind, a large language model focused on Arabic dialects and accents for government and business use.
WideBot says it serves more than 350 clients across 12 countries, including the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and Egypt's tax portal.
