Eyewa Plans 250 Stores and a Riyadh Production Hub in GCC Expansion Push
The eyewear retailer set plans to reach 250 stores by the end of 2025 and open a production hub in Riyadh as it scales across the GCC.
Eyewa, the Gulf eyewear retailer, has laid out an aggressive expansion plan to reach a network of 250 stores by the end of 2025, up from more than 150 across the GCC.
The company plans to open at least 100 new stores across six countries, reinforcing its position in Saudi Arabia and the UAE while growing in Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman and entering Qatar as a new market.
Eyewa is also preparing a production hub in Riyadh, featuring warehouse space, a fulfilment centre and a lens-manufacturing facility, to support its retail growth.
The expansion is backed by a $100 million Series C round led by General Atlantic, with the company describing itself as the largest eyewear brand in Saudi Arabia by store count.
