Jumia, the pan-African e-commerce platform, exited the Algerian market in early 2026 and reported FY25 revenue up 13% as it concentrates on its most profitable markets, including Egypt and Morocco. It forecasts 2026 GMV growth of 27% to 32%.
In Egypt, Jumia announced a new warehouse in Cairo of roughly 27,000 square metres to enable upcountry expansion and improve cost efficiency, mirroring moves in Lagos and Casablanca. The company aims for adjusted EBITDA breakeven in Q4 2026 and profitability in 2027.
