The Kuwaiti coffee-ordering marketplace secured $15 million to strengthen its e-commerce channel and prepare for further international expansion.
COFE App, the Kuwait-founded beverage ordering and delivery marketplace, has raised $15 million in a Series B round to develop its e-commerce channel and prepare for further international expansion.
The round was led by Wa'ed Ventures, the venture arm wholly owned by Aramco, alongside eWTP Arabia Capital. Other investors included Al Imtiaz Investment Group, KISP Ventures and Rasameel Investment Company.
Founded in 2018, COFE connects consumers across Kuwait, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt with coffee chains including Costa Coffee, Dunkin' and The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, and also retails packaged coffee, equipment and merchandise.
The company said the investment would help it strengthen its e-commerce offering, build its regional position and pursue international expansion.
