PRYPCO Mint Launches MENA's First Tokenised Real-Estate Platform in Dubai
Dubai Land Department and PRYPCO opened the region's first licensed property-tokenisation platform, letting UAE residents invest in Dubai real estate from AED 2,000.
On 25 May 2025, the Dubai Land Department launched the MENA region's first tokenised real-estate investment project through PRYPCO's 'Mint' platform, in collaboration with the Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority, the UAE Central Bank and the Dubai Future Foundation's Real Estate Sandbox. Zand Digital Bank served as banking partner, with all pilot transactions settled in dirhams rather than crypto.
Investors, initially UAE ID holders, can buy fractional ownership from AED 2,000. Demand was immediate, with an early listing fully funded in under two minutes by nearly 150 investors. DLD projects tokenised assets could reach 7% of Dubai's property market, or AED 60bn, by 2033.
