Saudi short-term-rental platform Mabaat has sold a strategic stake to Scene Holding Company, in a deal announced during the Saudi Tourism Forum 2025 in Riyadh.
Founded in 2019, Mabaat manages luxury short-term rental properties on behalf of private owners in prime locations such as Jeddah, Riyadh and Alhada, handling marketing, booking, payments and maintenance.
Scene Holding said the investment would help drive growth and expand services around major upcoming events, including the Asian Cup and Expo 2030.
Mabaat also signalled plans to expand into the hotel-management sector, aligning with the Kingdom's tourism-transformation agenda.
